Ingredients:
2 Bunches - Spring Onions, Chopped
3 - Green Chillies, Slit
1/2 TeaSpoon - Chilli Powder
Turmeric
Salt
3 TeaSpoons - Tamarind, thick pulp
2 Cups - Water
Tadka:
2 TeaSpoons - Oil
Mustard Seeds
1 Table Spoon - Chana Dal
1- Red Chilli
1/2 TeaSpoon - Methi Seeds
Procedure:
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Prepare tadka, add methi seeds first while preparing tadka and once methi seeds turn red add rest of the tadka ingredients.
3. Add green chillies and spring onions, mix well and close the pan with a lid.
4. Once spring onions turn soft add salt, turmeric, chilli powder, tamarind pulp and water and mix well.
5. When the water boils, add the rice flour paste to it. (Take rice flour in a cup, add some water and mix it into a paste.)
6. Boil it for few more minutes. (If the dish turns out too think add some water and boil it again.)
7. Garnish with cilantro.
8. You can serve this with plain rice or utta pappu (cooked toor dal) and ghee.
